Invest in Portugal, Move to Portugal
Portugal’s retirement haven is getting younger.

The Algarve is not just about world-class golf courses anymore. The region has been a magnet for retirees from Britain and Scandinavia for decades, drawn by the year-round good weather, low cost of living, and tax relief. But over the last few years, the Algarve has also become a destination for younger professionals to become residents, as reported by The Standard last week.
For those from outside the EU, this is particularly attractive because, after five years of legal residency in Portugal, they can apply for a Portuguese passport.
Starting a job-creating company, investing in a venture capital firm, or donating to a cultural heritage fund are still options to acquire a Portuguese passport.
