The number of American residents increased significantly in the last decade in The Netherlands, Spain, and Britain. It grew moderately or held steady in France, Germany, and Scandinavia. But it’s among the Portuguese that the numbers have risen the most and tripled to almost 10.000, according to The Economist in a report issued days ago.
