Believe it or not, there are companies actually moving from Silicon Valley to Lisbon. 

The city’s tech startup scene has been booming in recent years which doesn’t come as a surprise as the country has one of Europe’s highest rates of engineers and developers per capita, paid very competitively compared to other European markets. 

As recently reported by tech.eu “On top of that, the influx of international tech talent towards the Portuguese capital rapidly turned Lisbon into one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech hubs, with dozens of startups such as Bounce relocating here, opening local offices, or launching from here.”
